In this study aims to find out what things are obtained when educated and become an independent woman in this modern era. Education is a right for every person in the world. Therefore, there is no reason to differentiate education for women in Indonesia. This article is targeted to discuss the importance of women's education and independence, especially the independence of the family economic area. Women who have broad knowledge and more competent economic skills will be more independent, strong and will be more successful in carrying out their roles and functions in the family, society and national development. And an independent woman is someone who can determine attitudes and can support herself. So the conclusion is that it is very lucky to be someone who is educated and independent.
