Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggali makna serta peran ziarah ke Makam Kiai Muara Ogan bagi masyarakat Muslim di Sumatera Selatan, terutama dalam hubungannya dengan aspek religiusitas dan pengurangan tingkat stres. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ziarah tidak hanya dilihat sebagai tradisi keagamaan semata, tetapi juga menjadi bentuk praktik spiritual yang memberikan ketenangan, memperkokoh keyakinan, dan menumbuhkan rasa kedekatan kepada Allah. Dimensi pengalaman keimanan dan pengalaman religius terbukti mampu mencerminkan intensitas amalan, pemaknaan spiritual, serta konsistensi ibadah para peziarah. Temuan lain mengindikasikan bahwa kegiatan ziarah berkontribusi dalam meredakan berbagai gejala stres, seperti ketegangan emosional, rasa gelisah, dan kelelahan fisik, sekaligus meningkatkan kemampuan adaptasi serta pemulihan psikologis. Secara keseluruhan, ziarah ke Makam Kiai Muara Ogan memiliki peran penting sebagai strategi koping berbasis religius yang efektif dan sebagai bagian dari kearifan lokal yang memberi dampak positif terhadap kesejahteraan spiritual dan mental masyarakat.
