Makna Ziarah Ki Marogan Terhadap Kesejahteraan Psikologis Masyarakat Palembang

This study aims to explore the religious meaning of the pilgrimage tradition at the Ki Marogan Tomb and to understand how the caretakers experience its spiritual, emotional, and social dimensions. Using a qualitative approach with semi- structured interviews, three caretakers were selected through purposive sampling to describe their perspectives as both descendants and guardians of the site. The findings reveal that the pilgrimage is perceived as a sacred practice that honors Ki Marogan’s legacy in Islamic propagation and provides space for reflection, zikir, and spiritual closeness to God. The caretakers reported experiencing inner peace, strengthened meaning in life, and deeper spiritual connectedness through their involvement in maintaining the tomb. Additionally, the pilgrimage tradition contributes to social cohesion and supports the local economy through increased community activity. Overall, the results show that the Ki Marogan pilgrimage functions not only as a religious ritual but also as a cultural practice that enhances psychological well-being and reinforces social harmony within the surrounding community.
